Class Location and Details Sunday, May 3, 2026 10 am - 2 pm
Please bring lunch or snacks to class so that you can keep yourself fueled and hydrated while we teach! This class will be held at Cy’s home garden in Denver,located near Joseph P Martinez Park. Class will be held outdoors, with access to an indoor bathroom available. Directions to the class location will be sent out the week before the workshop.
About Kat
Kat is a Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalists Guild and a certified clinical herbalist and nutritionist from the North American Institute of Medical Herbalism, where she studied under Paul Bergner. She teaches workshops on herbalism, wild foods, and botany, while also running her clinical practice through Meet the Green. Approaching her work from a Vitalist perspective, Kat believes in the intelligent life force within us all. For 12 years, she worked at the Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism in Boulder and Lafayette, CO, where she served as faculty and Clinical Program Director. Originally from the East Coast, she has a passion for bioregional herbalism, especially the herbs and ecology of the Southwest. Kat has been gardening since childhood, learning from her mother and grandmother, a horticulturist and a farmer, respectively.
About Cy
Cy is a botanist, herbalist, and wildcrafter with an especial interest for Rocky Mountain herbs. He started Mountain Herbalism in Denver, CO, as a platform for holding herbal consults, hosting herbal workshops, and teaching others about local medicinal plants. Cy has been cultivating medicinal plants in his city home for over a decade.
